Partial Hospitalization Program in Fort Myers

As part of our comprehensive services, Park Royal Hospital is proud to offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for adults age 18 and older. Our PHP in Fort Myers, Florida, provides care for adults and seniors who are struggling with mental health disorders and co-occurring addictions.

Learn About Our Partial Hospitalization Program

The partial hospitalization program at Park Royal Hospital is designed for adults who need a higher level of care than what is typically available at the traditional outpatient level. Our PHP services can also support patients who are ready to step down from an inpatient program but need additional help transitioning back to daily life.

Our PHP welcomes adults and senior adults who can benefit from behavioral health support in a safe and caring environment. To help our patients access care in the way that may be best for them, we offer our PHP services both on-site as well as virtually.

Adults and seniors who take part in our PHP usually participate in care for about two to four weeks. However, a person’s exact length of time in our program may depend on their unique needs. When you take part in our partial hospitalization program, you will typically engage in intensive daily programming, which includes about five group therapy sessions each day.

At Park Royal, we provide highly individualized care for each person who participates in our PHP. Our staff works hard to ensure that the admissions process is thorough and streamlined, allowing us to help people access personalized support as easily as possible. To find out whether our partial hospitalization program may be right for you, we encourage you to contact our admissions team today.

Value of Group Therapy

At Park Royal Hospital, we believe in the value of group therapy, as it can allow patients to come together in a safe environment and learn from each other while also exchanging support.

Group therapy can also serve as a valuable opportunity for people to understand that they are not alone in their efforts to heal from the behavioral health challenges they have been facing. In group therapy, patients can find relief from any feelings of isolation or shame they may be struggling with.

Group therapy sessions with peers may also help provide you with fresh motivation to pursue your therapeutic goals and make positive changes in your life.
